The SILENT POWER BOX evolved in close co-operation with VW Marine Salzgitter and Silentium Schall + Wärme-Isolation Viersen.

The result of this unit consisting of VW Marine engine and high-quality insulation mouldings is a considerable reduction of perceivable engine noise.

The result of a comparison measurement carried out by a neutral institute on a five-cylinder VW TDI engine with 111 KW at a speed of 1600 rpm in a frequency range of 63 to 8000 Hz was an average sound level reduction of 24 dB.
